Another utility with enormous credibility. Asana is used at Red Bull, the New York Times, one of the major news publishers in the U.S., and even Nasa.
Asana differs from Trello in having the task management features of standard to-do applications and calendars, rather than the usual kanban boards. The latter in Asana can be considered an addition to the basic functionality.
Asana users can create an unlimited number of cards, which can be filtered using tags, as well as sorted by proximity of deadline, priority, team working on the task, etc. Each task has subtasks, and they form a status bar on the card that fills in as those subtasks are completed.
Asana’s pros include:
- Integration of external work tools and popular messengers.
- A built-in busyness tracker that shows how much time it takes to meet your goals.
- Displaying progress on a Gantt chart.
- Task prioritization.
- Convenient notification system both inside the software and via email.
